About Sweet Spirit LLC


Catherine Sweet is a Chiropractor in private practice in New York.  She received her Doctorate from New York Chiropractic College in 1982 and her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with teaching certifications in physics, mathematics and geology from S.U.N.Y. Plattsburgh in 1974.  She also has certifications in physical therapy, radiology and environmental management.  She also received an Associates in Chemical Technology in 1972 from S.U.N.Y. Farmingdale.

Dr. Sweet was teacher of the year, Amity Regional High School, Woodbridge, CT,1976, 1977, 1978.  She wrote the Advance Placement Chemistry Guide 1978.  She has taught at the New York Open Center, Wainwright House, Omega Institute and has been mentioned in Harper’s Bazaar Magazine May 1986,  She has been on TV and radio in NY and CT.  In 1992 she conducted a five day intensive on spiritual healing and subtle energy fields at Malvern House, Barbados.  In 1997 she lectured at Fox Hollow Spa in Kentucky and Exuma  in the Bahamas.  She also has lectured to the Complimentary Medicine Depts. at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital NYC and United Hospital, Rye NY.  Dr. Sweet has also lectured at S.U.N.Y. Plaattsburgh on Science, Consciousness and Energy Healing.

In 1983 she began to work with Dr. Marcel Vogel of San Jose, CA, on an independent research project concerning quartz absorption of electrical patterns in the subtle energy fields and their relationship to health.  This work continued until his death in 1994.  In 1986 she was a research associate for Remote Viewing in the Gansfeld experiment, Psychophysical Research  Laboratories, Princeton, N.J.  In 1975-76 she did parapsychology research with Yale Behavioral Science Dept.  She taught Parapsychology and Spiritual Healing at the University of Bridgeport, CT in 1983

Her research is focused on healing techniques; biomagnetism-reawakening of the immune system, initiating faster healing rates, pulse-points, entrance points for for distortions relating to organ health and tissue trauma related to shifts in acid-base.  She has researched relationships of ancient religious philosophies to subtle energy fields, frequency distortions and light.

Ariel Schur

    Ariel is a practicing psycotherapist in New York City.  Ariel received her undergraduate training at the University of Michigan and continued her graduate studies at the University of Chicago.  In addition,  she has been certified and trained in Critical Incident Stress Management.  During 9/11/01,  Ariel was onsite in lower  Manhattan assisting victims and their families.  She continues to specialize in helping individuals cope and overcome their loss, fears and anxieties.
